The National Alliance and the Youth of BPF become partners (photo)8.02.2011
On February 8 in Ukrainian city Lutsk the cooperation agreement between the National Alliance and the Youth of Belarusian People’s Front was singed by their leaders Igor Guz (the Head) and Anton Kalinovski (the Deputy Head) correspondingly.
The procedure took place in Lutsk City Council building.
Young people agree to cooperate in contribution to democratic changes in their countries, to hold common events, to provide non-stop exchange of experience and information.
At the press-coference, they gave afterwards, Belarusian activists told about political situation in their country after elections, namely about the wave of repressions against democratic forces. In his turn Igor Guz told about the National Alliance nearest plans within cooperation with Belarusian civil society.
In addition, guests from Belarus presented book “Okrestino weeldays”.
The book compiles real stories of people that were imprisoned for their active position against Lukashenko’s policy in pre-trial prison on Okrestino street (Minsk, Belarus) in 2006-2008. These people had been punished for participating in protests against the policy of the Belarusian President.
The book has detailed comments that give full picture about exact people and event, is documental and verified.
The Youth of BPF is the second Belarusian organization the National Alliance has signed cooperation agreement. In 2005 Ukrainian organization became partners with the Young Front.
